The Ultimate Bride-to-be Skincare Guide
Wedding season is in full bloom, and even though there are many other factors to consider in planning a wedding we all know that second to wearing the perfect dress down the aisle is wearing the perfect complexion! Our Biologique Recherche Head of UK Training Amie Biller gives us the ultimate guide in Bridal skincare preparation, in the first instalment of our Wedding Skin Series.
The lead up to your wedding is an extremely stressful and busy time, and unfortunately our skin reacts very quickly to stress! This is something I know all too well, as my race to the big day has already begun! My size 6 dreams may be flying off into the distance but luckily my skin care regime is not.
As the wedding season approaches, I am going to let you in on my personal to-do list to keep your skin in check and ensure you limit your chances of unhappy skin on your Big Day.
Six months to go
This is the time to find the right products to suit your skin, and ensure your regime is strict. A change of products can cause the skin to temporarily react whilst trying to balance itself out. As a rule of thumb, do not use anything new that you wouldn’t have experimented with six months ago to ensure no unwanted skin tragedies.
Everyone wants to look naturally flawless for the wedding photographs, but perfect porcelain skin takes work. Long gone are the days of just cleanse, tone and moisturise. A trip to your Biologique Recherche skin care therapist will ensure the products are correct for your skin and a wedding plan can be established to ensure your skin is looking and feeling at it’s healthiest.
Your 6 month pre-wedding recommended products include use of a Lait Cleanser, Lotion, Quintessential Serum and an Essential Moisturiser. This is the ultimate wedding starter pack to set you off in the right direction to happily ever after.
Facials are also extremely important and should be a monthly occurrence, depending on the conditions being treated. At your appointment your therapist can keep a close eye on the changes your skin is going through and ensure the products are working to your skin’s advantage.
Watch this space for our next Wedding Skin Series instalment coming soon, counting you down to a photo-ready wedding complexion!
