Introducing the Masque PIGM400

In the modern world, we are surrounded by external stresses that take their toll on our skin, leading to dullness, an uneven complexion and – commonly – pigmentation.

We are therefore delighted to announce the launch of our new brightening sheet mask, the Masque PIGM 400. The mask leaves the skin looking more radiant from the first application, and dark spots fade when it is used regularly.

It contains a high concentration of brightening active ingredients and exceptional antioxidants, which restore the skin’s radiance like no other. In addition, the mask is made from Lyocell, a material smoother than silk and 50% more absorbent than cotton – boosting the effectiveness of the formula.

The benefits of this mask are threefold:

Restore radiance
This mask contains Dulse Extract, which works to brighten and even the complexion. Marks of fatigue are instantly smoothed away and erased, as the skin’s radiance is restored.

Prevent pigmentation
Highly concentrated with exceptional brightening ingredients and antioxidants including Vitamin C, this pre-soaked mask prevents pigmentation evens the complexion.

Fight existing pigmentation
The mask will improve the overall appearance of the complexion by working on the skin’s luminosity and any irregularities in pigmentation. Specifically, A-Glucan, an anti-dark spot ingredient contained in the mask, which works to tackle existing pigmentation.

Used as a treatment programme, there are fewer pigmentation marks each day until the skin’s even complexion is fully restored.

What causes pigmentation?

Pigmentation is a common skin concern, and it is helpful to understand how it occurs to help prevent it from occurring and treat it once it appears.

Melanin is a molecule produced by skin calls; it is the pigment responsible for skin colour and protects the skin against the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays.

The appearance of pigmentation marks can be triggered by a number of factors. As the years go by, the pigmentation process can be disrupted – by age or UV rays – pigments accumulate and the complexion is no longer uniform. We see brown marks that correspond with an accumulation of melanin.

For those with Skin Instants ® troubled by pigmentation, the Masque PIGM 400 can be teamed with the Lotion P50 PIGM 400, Sérum PIGM 400 and Crème PIGM 400 as part of an anti-pigmentation treatment programme.

Exfoliate with the Lotion P50 PIGM400

The Lotion P50 exfoliates your skin to brighten it and even the complexion, as well as regulating your skin’s pH and hydrating your skin.

The Lotion P50 PIGM 400 is enriched with the exfoliating active ingredients of the Lotion P50 and has the added benefit of being enriched with brightening and antioxidant properties including flavonoids and wasabi extracts.

Used after your cleansing milk and before the Masque PIGM 400, the Lotion P50 PIGM400 evens and lightens the complexion to tackle dark spots and exfoliate before the use of the mask to enable the ingredients to penetrate more deeply.

Target with the Sérum PIGM 400

The targeted Sérum PIGM 400 can be used after the Masque PIGM 400 to brighten and protect the skin. The six concentrated active ingredients will brighten the complexion, reduce the appearance of dark spots and prevent them from occurring again.

It can be used on existing pigmentation to directly target areas of concern or used all over for a brightening effect as it combats pigmentation by fighting free radicals such UV rays.

Finish with the Crème PIGM 400

The Crème PIGM 400 can either be used all over. It is packed with whitening agents that tackle the melanogenesis process that causes pigmentation.

Protect the skin

Prevention is better than cure, and with the sun starting to come out, it’s important to protect the skin from the damage that UV rays can cause. The Protection U.V. is a sun protection with an SPF of 25, and protects the skin from UVAs, UVBs and infrared radiation – meaning that it is anti-ageing and anti-pigmentation spots.

If you are travelling to a very warm climate for a holiday, consider a treatment of the Préparation U.V. four weeks before. This unique formula prepares the skin for increased sun exposure to prevent the appearance of dark spots and signs of ageing. It uses the body’s natural protection factors, such as stimulating melanin synthesis, increasing the thickness of the corneous layer and reducing the rate of protein oxidation.
